Certificate IV TAE40116 Training and Assessment

BANKSTOWN TAFE COLLEGE

Workshop dates: 13 February to 21 November 2018                Tuesday/Wednesday 5.00pm-9.00pm

Delivery Overview: This program will be delivered over 36 weeks part-time. You will be required to attend two (2) four (4) hour face to face, including workplace simulations, training session on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 9. There will also be a 2 hour Adobe Connect session held on Thursday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm.

If you want to discuss Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) you can discuss with the teacher at the first class on the 13 Feb. If you successful in getting  RPL this will reduce your class attendance times and the fees you are required to pay.


Please note: If we do not get sufficient numbers the course will not be held at Bankstown

  1. Introduction to Community Services Course
Students will learn about entry-level community service work.  It includes five units from the Certificate II in Community Services (CHC22015), with a focus on building English language and learning skills. Students will learn about Australian workplace health and safety (WHS) issues and working in diverse communities.

Students can go on to complete a Certificate II or higher level study in more specialised fields like Individual Support and Early Childhood Education and Care.
Classes will be every Monday for 12 weeks from 9.30am – 2.30pm. Course Starts Monday 26th February

 The enrollment and information date is:  Monday 12th February, 10am at the Cottage, 28 Croydon St Lakemba.

  1.   Job Seeker Skill Up Course -  This 12 week course will help you get ready for work.
Students will complete units from the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20113), gain confidence and learn more about how to get a job.
Classes will be every Monday for 12 weeks from 9.30am – 2.30pm. Course Starts Friday 2nd March 2018
