This course is being offered either:
1.     full-time: 15 hours per week for 6 weeks
2.    part-time: 7 hours for 12 weeks

Bankstown College of TAFE is offering this course in partnership between Outreach and Business Administration.  The course can be undertaken either part-time of full-time.  The course is for students who want to gain and improve computer skills and skills for working in an office environment.  This course will help you find work as an office assistant, word-process operator or administration assistant.

Course Days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Start Date: 16 March


In this course students will learn:

·         Keyboarding skills including touch typing
·         How to start the computer and find your way around the desktop
·         How to create and save folders and files
·         How to open, save and print documents
·         How to use business technology and organise work tasks
·         How to work in a safe environment

The course will include the following units:

·         Contribute to health and safety of self and others
·         Produce simple word processed documents  
·         Operate a personal computer
·         Organise and complete daily work activities
·         Use business equipment and resources
·         Plan for education and employment
