The 2013 Refugee and Migrant Employment Pathways Expo will be held on 21 May 2013 at Cabravale Leisure Centre.

The Expo is organised by the Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership (FECAP) and the Fairfield Migrant Interagency (FMI)

The Expo will provide a forum for refugees and migrants to explore strategies for pathways towards education, training and future jobs.

The Expo this year will be held on:

The Department of Human Services Language Services Unit is seeking NAATI accredited/recognised and/or experienced interpreters in the following languages:

CHIN (HAKKA), SOMALI, FIJIAN, KAREN, ROHINGYA, DINKA

 [Please note: Experience preferred but not essential]


We are looking for Interpreters who meet the following Selection Criteria:


·      Permanent Residency / Citizenship in Australia

·      NAATI Accreditation/Recognition or other relevant Interpreting Qualifications or Interpreting Experience

·      Demonstrated knowledge of the AUSIT Code of Ethics

·      Good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness

·      Availability to provide services
