Dress for Work is a project of Metro Assist which assists disadvantaged men by providing free business attire to attend job interviews. Our clients include men who are long term unemployed, disadvantaged youth, refugees, recently released prisoners and men with mental health problems or disabilities as well as the homeless. Dress for Work caters for all ages.

We additionally provide Job Readiness Training for our clients addressing issues like appropriate interview clothing, employer expectations and workplace culture and behaviour.

Dress for Work has recently moved to 62 Meredith Street, Bankstown. Referral forms can be obtained from the website

Young People aged between 17 to 30 years are invited to join in on the Bankstown TAFE College tour on Wednesday  17 August from 5.30 to 8pm. – refreshment provided

The tour will involve teachers explaining the various courses we have to offer here at Bankstown.
